Unser Heuspeck wird traditionell mit aromatischen Südtiroler Heublumen veredelt und durch milde Kalträucherung verfeinert. Die natürliche Reifung in der klaren Bergluft Südtirols über mindestens 6 Monate verleiht ihm seine besondere Milde und das charakteristische Aroma.

Den Heuspeck dünn aufschneiden und auf warmem Südtiroler Schüttelbrot mit einem Hauch Butter servieren. Dazu passen frische Radieschen, eingelegte Gürkchen und ein Glas gekühlter Südtiroler Weißwein. Für die warme Küche eignet er sich hervorragend zum Verfeinern von Knödelgerichten oder als Zutat für herzhafte Bergbauern-Omeletts.

What to do if a vacuum package leaks?

If you notice air trapped in the vacuum packaging upon delivery, please remove the packaging immediately. The trapped air may result in a natural, whitish layer – this is the normal ripening coating, which is routinely removed before vacuum sealing.

You can easily enjoy the product: simply wash it thoroughly with hot water, dry it well, and cut off a thin slice. After that, your product is ready to eat again, and you can enjoy the full flavor of our South Tyrolean specialties.
